It's not the book itself I'm disappointed in, it's the formatting. Actually, 'puzzled' might be a better word. They seem to have typed out a new html edition at Project Gutenberg, but frankly it's harder to read than the plain text version, and weirdest of all, it doesn't have the original drawings. I assumed that was the main reason they decided to do an html version in the first place, but when I checked it out--nothing. If you've ever read Daddy Long Legs on paper, you know that the drawings are indispensable. The text actually refers to them.
Yet not only does the Gutenberg version not have them, I can't find a version anywhere on the net that has them. If anyone could direct me to one I would really appreciate it.
